What are some Christmas cookie recipes?
Do you know a good sugar cookie recipe for making Christmas cookies?
Alright, every year my little brother and I make christmas cookies. You know, sugar cookies, cookie cutters, then decorate them. My question is: Does anybody have a good sugar cookie recipe for using cookie cutters? Every year the recipes taste nice, but the dough always turns out too crumbly or too doughy. So any tips on avoiding this, or an awesome recipe is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Cooking With Old Family Recipes
Cooking With Old Family Recipes Cooking is a necessity of life and for some, like Jaguar Julie and Chef Keem, perhaps, cooking is is one of those great enjoyments of life. I certainly admire that. And I wish I could muster up the same enthusiasm. But I’d rather go dancing! I am one of those fortunate ones whose husband does all the cooking. And I do not take that for granted. I admire all of his meals and thank him for every one. If I had to cook, I would. And I have. Especially if I wanted to invite people to the house, I would consider the menu very carefully. The meal would be full of vegetables, even though I am no longer a strict vegetarian. I inherited a box full of recipes that have been in the family for several generations. I went to dinner with my cousins the … Read more

Save Time at Christmas With a Christmas Cookie Exchange
Save Time at Christmas With a Christmas Cookie Exchange {image} The weeks leading up to Christmas are so busy. You want to bake a variety of Christmas cookies, squares and goodies, but where do you find the time? The answer may be in organizing a small Christmas cookie exchange. Here is how it works – Having a variety of holiday treats on hand means baking at least 6 or 8 recipes. Instead, gather together a group of 4 to 6 people who are each willing to make a large batch of 1 or 2 recipes. If 4 people each make a large batch of 2 recipes and share them with the other 3 bakers, each person will have a variety of 8 different holiday treats for family and friends. It works best if each person ends up with at least a dozen pieces of each recipe. Getting … Read more
