The Christmas tree is the traditional reminder of holiday joy, but many of us live in smaller houses, apartments, or condos, and may not have room for a full sized one. Or we may have room for a full sized one, but may want more than one, perhaps a tree in the front hall, bedroom, or our office. We have a full sized natural one every year, and wouldn’t trade it for anything, however we also have a number of smaller trees as well. here's mine: I dont use my glass christmas balls on the tree anymore. I just made a whole bunch of pretty bows out of wire christmas ribbon and stuck twist ties through the knot in the middle. the twist ties make it so the kids cant pull them off the tree and even if they do they cant really wreck the bow or hurt themselves. cheap too! what's your trick? It's annoying, but honestly we had to start decorating the tree a bit higher so the ornaments were out of reach. The other thing we started doing is moving the ones we didn't worry about down near their reach. That way if they fall off, no harm done and they still get to explore.
